Service Advisory, Tuesday, Sept 27th, 11:10am: High winds and accompanying high seas are expected to enter our region tomorrow, Wednesday, at roughly mid-day, and persist until Saturday mid-day. Our ferry service will likely be impacted, causing interruption of service when the seas grow too high to comfortably travel over sea. We are currently anticipating being able to operate the Wednesday 8:30am and 10:30am trips, but, expect cancellations thereafter. In the event that we cannot operate the ferries, we WILL still get you to where you want to go. We will hire in private motor coaches to run directly between Boston and Ptown, and return, on a departure schedule identical to that of the ferry. Coaches in Boston will depart from our pier and coaches in Ptown will depart from the foot of the pier, at the bus parking lot adjacent to our Chamber of Commerce ticket office. Over road travel times of the coaches will vary between 2 hrs and 10 minutes and 2 hrs 45 minutes, depending on the time of day of travel. We will next update this advisory by 9:30am Wednesday. We will have a clearer weather forecast at that point. Thanks!
